Description
The City of Galax, Virginia, is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the redesign and conversion of the existing kiddie pool/wading pool area into a modern splash pad facility.The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, design services, supervision, and related services necessary to complete the project. The work is anticipated to include evaluation of the existing pool area, removal or modification of existing features, installation of splash pad components, water play features, required plumbing and circulation improvements, concrete or surface modifications, drainage considerations, and associated site restoration.The goal of this project is to transform the existing wading pool area into a safe, accessible, low-maintenance recreational water feature that provides an enhanced community amenity for children and families.Proposals shall include qualifications, relevant project experience, proposed approach, schedule, references, and all costs associated with completing the project.The City of Galax reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, request clarification, and award the contract in the best interest of the City.
