(1) Vendor needs to provide scheduling software. – Provide a comprehensive integrated fixed route product that supports planning, blocking, run cutting, bidding, driver scheduling, file import/export, management, NTD reporting, a static GTFS file, and the ability to integrate with other software systems using related data. – Agency is replacing an existing solution with the goal of automating business processes and leveraging modern scheduling solutions for scheduling optimizations, bidding, and daily operations. Metro requires more robust reporting for management and National Transit Database (NTD) reporting. • The existing solutions used for many processes are becoming dated and difficult to maintain.• There are limited schedule scenarios and optimization planning tools.• The existing solution does not have a bidding function• Integration with existing systems is challenging or manual• The dispatch planning is mostly manual • Improve planning and scheduling through scenario review and modern optimization tools• Automate the bidding processes• Automate the dispatch planning• Leverage APIs for integrations where possible• Enhance information through stronger reporting(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 29, 2026.
