Description

Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) seeks a pool of qualified vendors to provide flow monitoring goods and services. Services include year-round services as well as shorter-term services, the need for which may arise from time to time. These services will be in support of SPU’s Drainage and Wastewater (DWW) System. SPU operates and maintains the DWW system, which includes storm drainage, sanitary sewers, creeks, culverts, surface water ponds, underground tanks/vaults, conveyance pipes, and combined sewer systems (CSS). SPU engages in a variety of DWW monitoring activities primarily to assess systems performance, support capital planning projects, and provide regulatory compliance. The DWW monitoring projects require proper field installation, operation, and maintenance of field monitoring equipment that collects measurement flow data.
