Towing Evidentiary Vehicles for Lakeland Police Department

The services of a qualified and experienced wrecker service company to provide all material, equipment, tools, labor, and supervision to assist the Lakeland Police Department (LPD) in towing all vehicle that are identified as evidence, or into which evidence has been actually incorporated such that the location, and/or extraction of the evidence from the vehicle, requires special handling of the vehicle from the point of seizure through towing, and possible storage to avoid spoliation, and achieve required preservation. All vehicles being impounded for evidentiary purposes will, at the direction of an LPD member acting on behalf the agency, be towed to the LPD impound storage facility located on Oleander Street or to the LPD facility located on North Massachusetts Avenue. The bids submitted and the purchase order, if issues, shall be in complete, in accordance with, without limitation, this invitation to bid, specification, all codes, requirements and regulations referenced therein.
