(1) Vendor needs to provide electrical engineering professional services to the government authority located in Houma, LA.– System assessment, feasibility, and resilience planning:– Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of designated electrical substations, distribution lines, automated switches, and primary feeder circuits to identify vulnerabilities to high–wind events, flooding, and physical threats.– Detailed engineering design and contract plans:– Prepare detailed engineering plans, technical specifications, single–line diagrams, physical layouts, structural calculations, and construction.– Bidding and procurement assistance.– Construction administration and on–site inspection:– Provide general construction administration, hold pre–construction meetings, review contractor submittals, shop drawings, product certifications, and compliance documentation.– Perform periodic and resident on–site engineering inspections to verify construction compliance with engineering plans, technical specifications, and safety codes.– Grant compliance and reporting support:– Ensure all engineering records, test results, inspection logs, and procurement files comply with federal record retention mandates.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 6, 2026.
