STAFF-17021 - USA (Columbus, Ohio) - Gas Utility Capital Expenditure Program Expert Services - Deadline October 23,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide gas utility capital expenditure program expert services to the government authority located in Columbus, OH– Independent Contractor will review and evaluate the Utility’s proposed capital expenditure plans and forecasts underlying the CEP, including the reasonableness of the level and timing of projected expenditures, the categories of investments proposed for recovery, the processes and criteria used to identify, select, prioritize, and manage capital projects, and whether the proposed expenditures are necessary and appropriate for recovery through the CEP Rider.– Contractor will also be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of background materials as may be provided by agency or identified by the Independent Contractor during the course of its review– Contractor will be expected to bring to its analysis substantial experience in evaluating natural gas utility capital planning and expenditures, the necessity and prudence of utility investments, capital project management and prioritization, and capital expenditure programs and associated cost recovery mechanisms(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 19, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
