DISPOS-9757 - USA (Wixom, Michigan) - Collection and Disposal of Solid Waste Refuse, Recyclables, Yard Waste, and Other Services - Deadline November 10,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide collection and disposal of solid waste refuse, recyclables, yard waste, and other services to the government authority located in Wixom, MI.– The Contractor shall be required to maintain a high level of refuse, recycling and yardwaste collection and disposal services.a. Implementation and administration of solid waste collection systems for singlefamily including equipment selection and route design;b. Demonstrated expertise in implementing customer service programs, includingthe development and use of complaint handling procedures, performancemeasures and benchmarking;c. Experience in working with public agencies in the design, implementation andoperation of public education and information programs that promote recyclingparticipation and waste diversion;d. Demonstrated expertise in using data management systems to assure accuratedata collection, analysis, and regular reporting to the public agency;e. References, including other municipal customers• Acceptable organic debris will also include the following household kitchen scraps to beplaced into rigid containers or paper yard waste bags:A. Coffee and coffee filters;B. Fruits and vegetables;C. Beans;D. Napkins and paper towels that are free of cleaning products;E. Grease;F. Breads and grains;G. Eggshells;H. Dairy products;I. Meats and bones.(2) The contract period will be for five years.(3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 30, 2026.
