(1) Vendor needs to provide network field support provisioning service to the government authority located in Chicago, IL. – Provide network field support provisioning and related professional services in support of the agency’s technology operations, infrastructure projects and strategic initiatives. • Network field provisioning and installation:– Survey MDF, IDF, equipment room, pathway, power, grounding, rack space, and site–readiness conditions.– Stage, configure as directed, asset–tag, transport, install, label, patch, test, and validate switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, controllers, UPS devices, and related network hardware.– Perform rack–and–stack services, rack and cabinet installation, cable management, patching, equipment relocation, moves/adds/changes, and hardware refresh activities.• Decommissioning and asset disposition support:– Safely power down, disconnect, remove, inventory, package, and stage obsolete or replaced network and supporting infrastructure.– Remove abandoned patching and cabling when authorized; restore racks and work areas to an orderly, serviceable condition.• Cabling, testing and repair: – Test, trace, label, troubleshoot, repair, and certify copper and fiber cabling supporting CPS network devices.– Perform fiber inspection and cleaning, patch–cord replacement, termination, splicing, and optical testing when included in an authorized work order.• Project and emergency field support:– Support multi–site deployments, school openings, relocations, network refreshes, WAN/LAN/WLAN upgrades, Safety and Security technology work, and Capital Improvement projects.– Provide scheduled cutover, after–hours, weekend, holiday, and emergency support when requested by agency.• On–demand subject matter experts: – Provide qualified subject matter experts (SMEs) on an as–needed, remote or on–site basis for network architecture, routing and switching, wireless, firewalls, fiber and outside plant, data–center networking, UPS/power integration, automation, and ServiceNow workflow support.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
