LEGAL-17363 - USA (Commerce, California) - General Counsel Services - Deadline August 10,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide general counsel services to the government authority located in Commerce, CA.– Such duties will be divided into two categories – duties listed under an annual retainer, with an annual maximum cost authorized for the duties and expectations as outlined below– A list of duties deemed as “Special Matters” with a guaranteed hourly rate schedule for– Review of agendas and related consultation with District staff and members of the Board of Directors regarding the proper placement and/or description of business items on agendas; as needed or upon requests– Attendance to regular meetings of the District and their duly appointed committees, for which attendance is requested by the General Manager/Board President, unless excused by the General Manager/Board President– Preparation of all legal advice on behalf of the District to Board members, General Manager, and other designated departmental heads or personnel as directed by the General Manager or Board President(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 27, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
