The Tucson Unified School District is seeking to purchase a High School Health Education textbook resource for a Health Education semester course which stu dent s are requi red to take once to fulfill High School graduation requirements. This resource must be aligned to the Arizona Health Education Standards and include Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) overview and lesson . It is the primary intent of this R FP t o a cqui r e an evidence-based core health education program that embodies cultural responsiveness and universally develops competencies of all high school student le arn e r s . A health education program that includes all essential components of health to help students adop t an d ma inta i n healthy behaviors by using a standards-based approach to health education . A culturally responsive health program which offers options for differentiation including multiple languages, Universal Design for Learning , and supports for English Language Learners
