(1) Vendor needs to provide canal cleaning and maintenance service to the government authority located in Tallahassee, FL. • Canal cleaning: – Canal cleaning should be conducted during periods of calm, non–flowing, or static water with zero or minimal current.– Trees, shrubs, and vegetation shall be cleared and removed from within the canals, this includes all submersed plants, floating plants, emergent vegetation, algae, submerged logs, and silted organic debris.• Canal right–of–way vegetation clearing: Mulch all trees and woody vegetation within one inch or less in height from ground level within canal banks.– Mulch all trees and woody vegetation within one inch or less in height from ground level to establish a continuous vehicle travel corridor extending to a minimum of 12 feet vertically and 12 feet horizontally from the top edge of the canal bank.• Chemical spraying of aquatic vegetation: Chemically spray aquatic vegetation within the canal and the canal bank, using an integrated approach with herbicides matched to specific weed types.– Target species include exotic, invasive, and nuisance vegetation, including trees, shrubs, emergent grasses, floating vegetation, and woody growth.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 2, 2026.
