(1) Vendor needs to provide hazardous materials commodity flow study consultant service to the government authority located in Geneva, IL. – Prepare hazardous materials commodity flow study to be included in the agency hazardous materials response plan. – This work shall include collecting hazardous material flow information by truck, train, and pipeline.– Provide actual project services using project development and data collection tools from similar and previous commodity flow studies and will be expected to conduct the following general tasks: • Meet with or review Tier II reports of selected facility operators subject to determine quantity and types of hazardous materials being transported to and/or from selected facilities.• Collect, review and compile data on hazardous materials flow to determine common transportation routes currently being used and potential future routes, identify hazardous materials flow patterns by mode and major transportation corridor.• Survey and record the location, vehicle type, quantity and material identification at selected locations and times, where and when the transportation of substances is likely to occur.• Identify trends and other issues in hazardous materials movement.• Produce maps, tables, GIS products, and analytical findings to support agency planning and emergency operations updates.• Share project data and final reports with the agency for inclusion and use in their respective preparedness activities.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 14, 2026.
