Medical Director

Washington County, Oregon, is requesting letters of intent from qualified individuals to fill the position of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Medical Director for Washington County. Through this Letter of Intent, Washington County is seeking an individual who will hold the position of EMS Medical Director to Washington County. The initial contracting period is from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027 and may be extended up to 2 years which will run Jan-Dec. In order to qualify for this contract responder must: 1) Be a practicing doctor licensed to practice in the State of Oregon. 2) Have experience working in the EMS field (transport, previous medical direction, work as a physician in the emergency department). The County strongly prefers knowledge of the EMS system and partners in Washington county or the tri-county area.
