  "summary": "<p>Leon County Government, the “County” is accepting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing services on a continuing supply basis for work in the following professional services categories:</p><p>A.\tArchitect/Interior Designer</p><p>B.\tStructural Engineer</p><p>C.\tBuilding Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Protection Engineer</p><p>D. Landscape Architect</p><p>Services are for Basic Architectural, Standard Engineering, and Landscape Architectural services including design, construction documents, bidding and construction phase services, and other such duties as may be allowed under Florida law. Supplemental and Additional services may also be required on an as-needed basis. Professional services shall be provided according to the Leon County Professional Services Guidelines, available on the Leon County Public Works web site.</p><p>Services will be on as needed basis for small projects to be administered primarily by Public Works Division of Engineering Services, however, other County Divisions and Constitutional Offices may request and administer these services as well during the term of this contract.</p><p>Firms shall identify in their response to this Request for Proposals the categories of work for which they want to be considered. During the selection process, each firm will be evaluated and ranked as to their qualifications to provide the services for each category of work for which they have requested to be considered. At the County’s discretion, multiple firms may be selected for each category of work, and firms selected for more than one category will have their work scope based on those work categories. Consultants under contract with the County will only be authorized to provide the services described in the work categories for which they were selected. Firms not selected for a work category will not be authorized to provide services in that category. In cases where a work assignment may bridge two categories, Leon County staff shall make the determination as to the work category that applies to the assignment.</p><p>All professional services to be provided under this agreement shall be performed by Professionals licensed to practice in the State of Florida under Title XXXII F. S., and in strict compliance with the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act, 287.055 F. S. (CCNA). Consultants providing services under this contract shall at all times be knowledgeable of the limiting thresholds of the CCNA statutes and shall insure that full compliance therewith is maintained at all times.</p><p>Applicants should be aware that projects to be developed under this contract may have a construction value between $10,000 and $4,000,000. Studies may have a fee of up to $500,000.</p><p>It is the intent of the County to contract with multiple firms in each category in order to meet the anticipated need for services. The distribution of the work to these selected firms shall be at the sole discretion of the Public Works Division of Engineering Services, based on what staff deems as in the best interests of the County. The contract period shall be for two (2) years with three optional one (1) year periods for a possible total of five (5) years.</p>",
