MRB-57803 - USA (Michigan) - Trails Strategy and Action Plan Services - Deadline October 29,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide trails strategy and action plan services.– This update will better identify existing gaps in the countywide non‑motorized trail network, evaluate preferred alternatives to close those gaps, and prioritize the timing and sequencing of needed connections.– Planning committee meetings and outreach:– Getting input from stakeholder interviews.– Additional public outreach efforts – information for county or partner websites: project updates, schedule, meeting presentations and handouts, draft reports or maps, other.– Trail network analysis:– Trail network inventory, GIS database and map graphics.– Analysis of progress since original gaps were identified.– Preliminary routing analysis and recommendations:– Develop land parcel inventory and ownership matrix for all viable routes to fill gaps.– Analysis of accessibility to nearby roadways, recreational amenities, and economic assets.– Investigation of environmental issues and problem areas.– Identifying and mapping obstacles to potential route connections.– Description of permitting issues and requirements relevant for each potential trail alignment.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 20, 2026.
