(1) Vendor needs to provide city attorney and city prosecutor services to the government authority located in St. Louis, MO.– Review routine contracts, easements, and utility matters. – Advise the City Clerk on records, retention, and elections. – Advise on nuisance, licensing, and code administration. – Review police reports, tickets, citations and code violations issued by the police department and code enforcement and decide whether to file in the City’s Municipal Division or refuse. – Appear for the City at every scheduled court date and provide defendants and defense counsel with pre–trial discovery as requested. – Negotiate pleas, final dispositions and present recommendations to the judge, try contested cases, and handle any application for trial de novo in the associate circuit court.
