DEBT-2181 - USA (San José, California) - Outside Collection Agency Service - Deadline October 26,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide outside collection agency service to the government authority located in San José, CA.• Contractor is required to be presently engaged in first and third–party collection of government bad debts.• Contractor shall provide debtor location/skip tracing and asset verification services• Contractor may have the capability to service accounts in languages other than English• Multilingual capability should include Spanish and Vietnamese• Contractor shall list accounts electronically, as well as electronically transmit payments• Contractor shall agree to accept for collections all invoices, claims, and accounts assigned to it.• Contractor may have experience providing compliant collections services for utility providers, including delinquent account management, payment plans, and customer engagement. • Contractor shall formally demand payment for each delinquent account in a non–threatening manner and/or seek a payment arrangement satisfactory to the City under which the delinquent account will be paid.• Contractor shall have the ability to have multiple customer relationships (e.g., multiple customers responsible for one account, one customer responsible for multiple accounts, multiple customers responsible for multiple accounts, etc.)(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 13, 2026.
