The performance period is for a period of 12 months.All qualified, responsible local sources that are legally licensed as a company to operate a business in Nassau, The Bahamas are encouraged to submit a proposal. More favorable consideration will be given to a company not submitting a proposal involving a joint venture arrangement or subcontracting with a different organizationThe Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type purchase order.The Government is planning a pre–quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.Notwithstanding FAR 4.203–1(b)(5)(ii), the Contracting Officer has determined that it is in the best interest of the U.S. Government that offerors are registered in SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov at the time of submitting a proposal.
