The City of Rogers, Arkansas is accepting sealed bids for public auction for the purchase of the following City-owned real property located in the Lexington Subdivision of Rogers, Arkansas: Parcel No. 02-18229-000, Lot 71A Lexington Subdivision, PLAT 5/26/05 2005-654 & REPLAT 7/01/2020 L202038467 The property will be sold “as is”. The contract allows for a minimum of thirty (30) days from when the bid is accepted and the real estate agreement is signed to closing. The closing will be performed at Buyer’s expense and will require Buyer to pay for all costs associated with this sale. Bids must be for cash, and the City will select the successful bidder based on the highest value of the submission and the submitter’s ability to pay in cash for the purchase at the time of closing. Once the bidder is notified, the bidder has 10 business days, unless specifically extended at the sole discretion of the City, to submit: A cashier’s check for $2,500 earnest money, and A signed Offer & Agreement in the form provided by the City. Failure to timely submit the check and the signed contract may result in rejection of the bid, at which time the City may select the next bid or reject all bids. Selection of a successful bidder is subject to the recommendation and approval of the City of Rogers City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any bid or all bids for any reason.
