LEGAL-18312 - USA (North Augusta, South Carolina) - City Attorney Service - Deadline November 6,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide city attorney service to the government authority located in North Augusta, SC.– To provide City Attorney and general municipal legal services.– To provide City Attorney – General Municipal Legal Services on a contractual basis with experience in legal advice, counsel, services, consultation, and opinions on the full scope of civil municipal legal assignments on behalf of the City.– Provide clear and concise legal guidance and direction, legal opinions, advice, assistance and consultation to the Mayor, City Council, and City Administration regarding City–related legal issues in a timely manner.– Attend City Council meetings and study sessions, and be prepared to advise Council on matters on the agenda, serve as parliamentarian, and offer legal advice on procedural and substantive issues that arise during the meeting.– Represent the City in litigation as needed. Oversee litigation being handled by outside counsel, including counsel on behalf of City insurance carriers.– Assist City staff with City zoning and land use. – Perform such other legal duties as may be required to complete the performance of the functions mentioned above, or other legal advisement as required.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 30, 2026.(3) The contract period will be three years.
