Septic to Sewer Program Project 1 – Professional Engineering Services - ARPA Funds

The purpose of this project is to engage a professional engineering firm to perform design, permitting, bidding and post design services for the first project (Project 1) of a federally funded ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) septic to sewer program. Ten ($10M) million dollars has been acquired through County ARPA funds that will allow the County to extend wastewater collection infrastructure in the public Right of Way (ROW) in three areas identified for futrue septic to sewer conversion. Conversion of onsite septic system will eliminate future groundwater impacts in the project areas from these private onsite septic treatment systems. The County seeks a Professional Engineering Services team to perform the work and provide project experience and qualifications for design and coordination with other professionals. This experience should be demonstrated in project history experience and in a technical approach to be provided in the response to this RFP.
