Description

Vendor needs to provide anti–vehicle gate and bollard construction service to the government authority located in Middle River, MD.• Develop at least three (3) Proof of Concept Options;• Remove approximately 32 linear feet of existing chain–link fence, including posts and foundations, and connect the chain–link fence and barbed wire to gate posts;• Remove approximately 32 linear feet of the existing cable anti–ram crash barrier, including associated posts, cables, and foundations;• Remove and properly dispose of existing entrance subgrade, subbase, and asphalt pavement;• Furnish and install sixteen (16) removable and lockable anti–vehicle bollards;• Perform grading and paving of the entrance area;• Furnish and install new manual double–swing gates to accommodate a 32–linear foot opening;• Provide bonding and grounding for new gate installation;• Install crosswalk pavement markings;• Restripe parking spots in the area of the new pavement;• Furnish and install street lighting to illuminate the gate area;• Restore any disturbed landscaping or hardscape features;• Trim trees if required to complete the scope of work (with CE PM coordination and approval);• Ensure continuity of perimeter security throughout construction;• Coordinate traffic and environmental considerations (2) This bid is set–aside for total small business.
