AUC-26-08 Check Point 9100 Firewall Appliance Refresh

The Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) requires the supply and delivery of Check Point firewall hardware, software subscriptions and manufacturer support to refresh the two Check Point 6200 firewall appliances currently deployed at its Calgary office. The scope consists of two (2) Check Point 9100 Plus appliances with Virtual Systems and SandBlast subscription, 190 seats of Check Point Quantum SASE Private Access (Premium), and Check Point Direct Enterprise Support (Standard). The complete requirement, including product identifiers and quantities, is set out in the bill of materials in Section 2.1 and in the Pricing Schedule at Attachment 1. As part of this procurement the AUC will return its two existing Check Point 6200 appliances (serial numbers 2026BA0001 and 2026BA0002) to Check Point under the manufacturer's trade-in program. Proponents must reflect the resulting trade-in credit as a separate line item in the Pricing Schedule. Quotes must be based on the bill of materials exactly as specified. Substitutions, alternates and partial quotes will not be accepted. Proponents must be a Check Point Premier level partner, must be an Authorized Dealer for Check Point, and must supply the goods through a Canadian Distributor. Installation, configuration and commissioning are not within the scope of this RFQ. Those services will be performed under the AUC's existing firewall support and services contract. Delivery is required at the AUC Calgary office on or before December 11, 2026.
