(1) Vendor needs to provide drive connector study service to the government authority located in Fredericksburg, VA. – Provide transportation engineering services to assist the city in the performance of a drive connector study.– This study will involve the assessment, impacts, and development of planning–level concepts and cost estimates for a new multi–modal east–west connection linking drive and learning lane.– A new multi–modal connection between drive and learning lane.– Complete streets concepts for the new and existing roadways.– Pedestrian and bicycle facilities including a shared–use path to create safe routes to schools.– Conceptual designs for key intersection improvements.(2) An optional pre–bid meeting will be held on August 17, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year. (4) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 19, 2026.
