Event DescriptionThe Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) hereby announces an Industry Day for Tactical Protective Equipment, to be conducted December 23, 2026, between 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST each day. The purpose of this event is to obtain information from industry regarding current products, technologies, and capabilities relevant to protective tactical equipment used in correctional emergency response operations. Information obtained will support the BOP`s national contracting initiative beginning in Fiscal Year 2027.3. Categories of Equipment for DemonstrationInterested vendors shall be prepared to bring physical items for inperson demonstration. Equipment categories include, but are not limited to:Protective helmets, including riot helmets with face shieldsRiot and disturbance control shieldsShin guards and lowerleg protectionKnee and elbow padsTactical uniformsForearm and upperarm protection
