(1) Vendor needs to provide attorney legal services to the government authority located in Landover Hills, MD. – Provide legal advice to the mayor and council, manager, and staff.– Prepare and review ordinances, resolutions, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.– Attend mayor and council meetings, work sessions, and special meetings as requested.– Provide guidance on procurement, personnel, ethics, open meetings act, public information act, land use, and municipal operations.– Represent the town in litigation or coordinate with insurance defense counsel when appropriate.– Review real estate documents and other municipal legal matters as requested.
