(1) Vendor needs to provide paper to digital document scanning, indexing and digitization service. • Images must be scanned at 300–600 ppi. • Scanning at 600 ppi is recommended for clean printed type with high inherent contrast.• Digitize approximately 53 priority boxes of unscanned records, estimated at 141,655 pages.• Create searchable files using OCR where technically feasible and appropriate for the record type.• Prepare files for scanning, remove or address fasteners and bindings, preserve original order, and handle fragile materials appropriately.• Verify digitized files to ensure completeness, order, legibility, naming accuracy, metadata accuracy, OCR/searchability, and indexing accuracy for the base–scope records.(2) This bid is Set–Aside for Total Small Business Set–Aside (FAR 19.5).
