2020 Road Fund West Union Shoulder Widening Project

The project name is: 'Project Title . The work to be done under this contract consists of the following in WASHINGTON COUNTY: Implement temporary traffic control and temporary pollution control measures Trim vegetation adjacent to and above the roadway related to contract operations Construct a widened shoulder on both sides of the road and a 2-inch overlay on West Union Road between Cornelius Pass Road and Helvetia Road Construct associated culvert and drainage improvements Place approximately 2,010 Tons of Level 3, ½” ACP overlay on West Union Road. Place approximately 1,230 Tons of ½” porous asphalt concrete (PAC) Mixture Perform approximately 10,700 square yards of Cold Plane Pavement Removal Place approximately 217 Tons of 3/4 “– 0 aggregate for road base and 550 Tons of ¾” – 0 aggregate for road shoulder Place approximately 1,895 Tons of 1 ½” – ¾” crushed granular drain backfill and 329 Tons of ¾” – ½” crushed granular drain backfill as base material for the PAC Remove and replace pavement markings as required Adjust utilities as required Additional and incidental Work as called for by the specifications The Project cost range is 'Project Cost Range .
