Fire and Security Alarm Services

The City of Pasadena Public Works Department is requesting bids from qualified firms for the Building Systems and Fleet Management Division to provide comprehensive fire and security alarm system services at all locations listed in the Bidder's Proposal section of this document. The City may from time to time, without invalidating the Contract, add, delete, or change any of the locations. The Contractor shall furnish all supplies, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and transportation, and perform all operations necessary to monitor, inspect, test, certify, and repair fire and security alarm detection systems and fire sprinkler systems in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 and NFPA 72 standards. Such systems include but are not limited to; smoke detectors, pull stations, wet/dry pipe sprinklers, fire pumps, Halon Suppression System, and all other associated components.
