QUALITY-3024 - USA (Haverhill, Massachusetts) - Backflow Device Testing Services - Deadline September 22,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide backflow device testing services to the government authority located in Haverhill, MA.– The City is soliciting bids for Certified Backflow Testers (Testers) to conduct tests, including initial tests, annual and bi–annual tests, and re–tests of backflow prevention devices.1. Reduced Pressure Backflow Preventers (RPBP): Must be tested semiannually (twice a year)2. Double Check Valve Assemblies (DCVA): Must be tested annually (once a year)3. Pressure Vacuum Breakers (PVB): Must be tested annually– The Tester shall be responsible for scheduling each test and retest with the identified customers.– Certified Backflow Tester will test backflow device according to industry standards and apply tag certifying device has passed:1. The Tester shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, facilities, vehicle and supervision necessary to provide testing as directed2. The Tester shall obtain all tags prior to testing devices and will apply the tags to an inconspicuous location on the device. Tags shall be rolled and twist tied to prevent weathering3. If a device does not pass the initial test, the Tester will make all reasonable attempts to retest the device. Note: Retesting of the device after such attempts will not be considered an additional test.
