RFP#2324-013 - Environmental Analysis and Documentation Associated with the AES Dewatering Project

The City of Redondo Beach (“City”) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals and environmental consulting firms to conduct environmental review, including preparation of all environmental documents as required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), associated with disabling or removing the dewatering pump system at the recently decommissioned AES Powerplant site located at 1100 Harbor Drive in Redondo Beach (Project). The information received in response to this RFP will help determine the approach taken, and approximate funding required, to conduct the required environmental analysis. The City plans to identify qualified firms and enter into negotiations with the proposal most suited to conduct this project according to the City’s projected timeline and budget. The City may contact Respondents, at its sole discretion, for additional information or follow-up interviews. The City shall not be obligated to contact any respondent, or to purchase goods or services related to this RFP. The City will determine, at its sole discretion and according to its internal procurement policies, the remaining steps in this process. The City reserves the right to enter into a contract for the services described solely based on the information received in proposal submitted for this RFP.
