3 Year CCTV Sanitary Sewer Main Inspection

The City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU) department has identified approximately 20% of sewer main pipelines for cleaning, CCTV inspection and condition assessment service. The location of pipe segments are shown on provided project map showcasing a 3 year CCTV Sewer main inspection project. Approximately 230,000 LF/44 miles of sewer mains need to be inspected over the period of 3 years (approximately 15 miles each year). The sewer mains to be inspected are non-plastic lines, with diameter range from 6-inch to 18-inch. The CCTV inspection needs to be conducted during the summer months (April through November, total of approximately 105 working days) each year.
