Vendor needs to provide travel demand model technical assistance service to the government authority located in Lansing, MI. – Project represents a list of enhancements to improve the usability and forecasting power of the current agency travel demand model. – Provide on–demand modeling services through December 31, 2027, develop a land use prediction model for use in future regional planning activities, develop a plan/scope of work for agency overhaul beginning in 2027, and develop a training program.• Travel counts updates: Provide useful information for the development, calibration, and validation of the travel demand model.• Population synthesizer–based household model: The trip generation model requires the joint distribution of households by workers, persons, and autos.• Reporting and dashboards: develop a new reporting dashboard to create maps and reports that can be directly used for planning and project development.• Network scenario manager: consultants have employed a scenario manager to maintain all roadway networks in a consistent database.• Transit model update: work will include reviewing the agency model to ensure it remains appropriate for analyzing Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and takes advantage of changes in agency software. • Further development of a parcel–based land use model: create a land use allocation model to estimate future TAZ socioeconomic (demographic) data from parcel data.– Explore implementing an allocation model that begins with a control total for a given region and allocates growth to individual parcels. • Provide ample training sessions for agency staff on the use of the model.
