EXTRA-76156 - USA (Albany, New York) - High-Quality Design Correctional Facility Planning Services - Deadline October 9,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide high–quality design correctional facility planning services to the government authority located in Albany, NY.• The planned facility will require full security infrastructure and systems, including but not limited to; perimeter fencing, interior and exterior IP (Internet Protocol) cameras, and an array of security and hardening features which may support either minimum, medium, or maximum–security needs. • Develop high level site and facility layout concepts to analyze the feasibility of new buildings, structures, and facilities. Facility is anticipated to include but not be limited to cells/cellblocks, utilities, laundry services, food services, housing, administration, programs, maintenance, classrooms, and health care facilities.– Assess potential environmental effects on land, water, air quality, and ecosystems.– Review geotechnical and physical constraints that may affect feasibility including soil conditions, drainage, and stormwater needs.– Evaluate expected noise levels and transportation impacts from construction and long–term operations.– Gather input from stakeholders and community members to identify priorities, concerns, and potential impacts.– Identify required security levels, perimeter measures, and surveillance needs for the proposed facility.– The Firm’s team shall include qualified persons with experience in security systems used in correctional environments, including security doors, frame, and architectural hardware, perimeter security systems and interior IP camera systems.– Construction management input and guidance as to feasibility of various proposed construction methods, bidding methods, and potential use of PLA or other construction related strategies.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
