Vendor needs to provide village savings and loan associations digitization service. – Design and implement a scalable, secure, and user–centric digital solution to digitize Village Savings & Loan Associations (VSLAs) operations and enable linkage of members (smallholder farmers) to formal financial institutions and appropriate digital financial services i.e by ensuring the onboarded onto the Fintech digital platform ultimately open up accounts and transact with a registered formal financial institution.– The successful applicant will be expected to perform the following tasks to digitize a minimum of 250 VSLAs, with each VSLA having an average of 15 members (50% being women) and link them up to formal financial services.A. Inception and design• Review Organization VSLA assessment and baseline findings report; conduct rapid needs assessment/desktop review.• Co–design solution with VSLA members and other partners e.g local NGOs, mobile money operators and/or Financial institutions; include user journeys and business model options, and the proposed approach for linking VSLAs to formal financial services.– Technology Development & Integration• Develop or configure a digital VSLA platform supporting multiple access.• Implement secure group and individual accounts, transaction records, automated group processes (contributions, loans, interest calculation, share–out).• Provide APIs/integration mechanism with mobile money/MNOs, banks, microfinance institutions, and third–party KYC providers.• Ensure data protection and encryption; comply with national regulatory requirements.
