(1) Vendor needs to provide community wildfire protection plan services to the government authority located in Palmer, AK.1. Project management and coordination:– Develop a project schedule and communication plan.– Coordinate logistics associated with community outreach and travel.2. Community and stakeholder engagement:– Coordinate engagement activities to account for seasonal access, subsistence activities, and fire operations.– Coordinate all outreach activities with the project manager.3. Wildfire risk assessment:– Assess wildfire risk to residential areas, critical infrastructure, and identified values at risk;– Review historic wildfire occurrence and fire behavior data.– Identify defensible space concerns and structural ignition risks.4. GIS mapping and spatial analysis:– develop GIS–based maps supporting the community wildfire protection plan.– Incorporate available wildfire history, vegetation, fuels, infrastructure, and mitigation project data.– Produce maps suitable for inclusion in the final community wildfire protection plan and public presentations.– Provide GIS deliverables in a format compatible with the Esri ArcGIS platform.(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 22, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
