(1) Vendor needs to provide federal advocacy services to the government authority located in Porterville, CA.– Provides a full range of municipal services including police, fire, public works, water, wastewater, parks and recreation, planning, engineering, transportation, aviation, and administrative services. – Committed to strengthening its partnerships with federal agencies and the congressional delegation to advance strategic infrastructure investments, economic development, public safety, water reliability, transportation improvements, aviation, and other community priorities.– Federal advocacy strategy:– Develop, maintain, and periodically update a comprehensive federal advocacy strategy aligned with the city's strategic priorities.– Represent the city before members of congress, congressional committees, federal agencies, executive branch officials, and other federal stakeholders.– Federal funding and grant assistance:– consultant shall identify, pursue, and assist the city in securing federal funding opportunities, including congressional appropriations, competitive grants, discretionary funding, loans, and other federal financial assistance programs.– Strategic federal priorities.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 2, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
