Description
We love art in Sweet Home! We have a long history of showcasing our murals in our downtown corridor, and they are treasured here in our community. The City of Sweet Home was just given a sponsorship to pay for paint for murals in our downtown. We want to expand our mural collection by adding 12 additional murals. The Sweet Home Ad Hoc Committee on Arts and Culture is seeking proposals from local artists for the creation of original murals to enhance the beauty and cultural significance of our community. The murals will be displayed on buildings along Long Street and Main Street, contributing to the local identity and reflecting the history and culture of Sweet Home. The City estimates this project will occur from June of 2024 through October of 2024, but may vary depending on the weather and types of murals.
