Vendor needs to provide oncology data specialist certified services to the government authority located in Montgomery, AL. – For an Oncology Data Specialist–Certified to assist with performing the case consolidation process, which involves applying appropriate medical record abstracting rules to meet the National Program of Cancer Registries completeness of data requirements.– Qualified applicants with knowledge and experience in anatomy, medical coding, medical record abstraction, and data analysis.– For overseeing the case consolidation process and ensuring the proper coding instructions are followed.– This position will also monitor complete case reporting and ensure that all reporting facilities are compliant for completeness of reporting. – The contractor is not required to be present in the work setting.– The work hours can be part–time or full–time and will not exceed the maximum amount payable.– Keep accurate and consistent consolidation records as required– Review, correct, and edit identified errors in all submitted medical data across all clinical reporting sources.– Provide feedback regarding corrections to non–hospital, small hospital, and follow–back coordinators.– Report to the agency Program Director or designee approved by the Program Director.
