(1) Vendor needs to provide food services for students in our K–5 Building and 6–12 Building to the government authority located in Norwell, MA.– Provide an appealing and nutritionally sound program for students using high–quality food and menu options which are economically priced.– Provide a variety of hot and cold menu choices.– Provide two options for lunch.– Increase participation at all levels of the Food Service program by improving meal quality, seeking student and parent input, and successful menu variation and planning.– Maintain reasonable prices for students participating in the program.– Integrate commodity foods into the meal program whenever possible.– Nutrition goals– Provide fresh, nutritious, tasty, and visually appealing meals– Provide fresh fruit and vegetables with every lunch (fresh fruit preferred)– Provide at least one fruit option with every breakfast (fresh fruit preferred)– Locally sources foods (as able)– Minimize frozen foods (as able)– No partially or fully hydrogenated oils– No deep–fried foods– No artificial trans fats– Minimize the use of overly processed food– Foods with little or no added sugar– No sodium nitrates and nitrites in meat– No animal by–products– No mechanically separated meats(2) A pre–bid conference will be held on September 18, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than September 25, 2026.
