Alonzo “Babe” James Community Center Playground Artificial Turf

The City of New Smyrna Beach, Florida is soliciting Invitation to Bid 'Project ID , 'Project Title to select a qualified manufacturer and installer for artificial playground turf to be installed at the existing playground at the Alonzo "Babe" James Community Center, located at 201 N. Myrtle Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, Florida, 32168. The approximate area of turf and proper fall protection surfacing is 4,200 square feet. The City of New Smyrna Beach is using the Competitive Sealed Solicitation methodology of source selection for this procurement, as authorized by the City Purchasing Policy. Proposals will be opened publicly on the date and time stated in the bid document. After the opening, designated Engineering Staff and Engineer Consultant will review proposals to determine the lowest responsive and most responsible to the Invitation to Bid (ITB). Proposals deemed to be non-responsive may be rejected without being evaluated. The City reserves the right to award the contract to the Proposer the City deems to offer the lowest responsive and responsible proposal, as defined elsewhere in this solicitation. The City is therefore not bound to accept a Proposal based only on the lowest price.
