Description
Henry Vilas Zoo staff has determined to repurpose the former penguin exhibit (minimizing demolition) to provide a habitat and display for Arctic Fox. The former exhibit featured natural rock appearance that will be maintained. 8-foot to 12-foot high mesh or fencing will be installed around the entire exhibit to contain the animals and prevent direct public interface from occurring. A Training area will be established for Zookeeper presentations and a water feature will be incorporated in the exhibit.
