(1) Vendor needs to provide public defender services to the government authority located in Bellingham, WA.• Must be able to provide no less than two attorneys at all criminal court calendars including in custody hearings and alternate jail site virtual hearings. – Must be able to provide timely and responsive communication with appointed defendants prior to scheduled court sessions. – Must be able to provide in–person communication with appointed defendants held in custody, outside of court sessions. – Must be able to provide 24–hour on–call telephone service for communication with individuals requesting counsel before submitting to breath analysis testing. – Must be able to provide representation for appeals, if assigned by agency– Must be able to provide representation in the form of therapeutic court public defense services, including representation and attendance of all therapeutic court proceedings. (2) The contract period will be for one year.
