(1) Vendor needs to provide general county attorney services to the government authority located in Meeker, CO. – The Attorney shall serve as the County's primary legal counsel for general County matters and shall provide timely, practical, and legally sound advice designed to protect the County's interests and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, policies, and procedures.– The Attorney may, however, be requested to provide backup legal support for agency in an emergency or other unforeseen circumstance.• General legal counsel• Contracts and transactional matters• Board of County Commissioners and public meetings• Personnel and employment matters• Land use, zoning, and property matters• Litigation and administrative proceedings• Collaboration with County officials and staff• Client representation and authorization• Records, files, and work product• Professional standards and conflicts(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 28, 2026.(3) The contract period will be one year.
