(1) Vendor needs to provide sharps, medical and pharmaceutical waste collection and disposal services to the government authority located in Leavenworth, KS.– Two scheduled medical–waste pickups annually, with approximately 12–15 boxes per pickup;– Collection and disposal of sealed sharps containers, biohazard bags, bloody or saturated dressings, and other regulated medical waste;– Collection and disposal of approximately 8–10 18–gallon pharmaceutical–waste containers annually;– Collection and disposal of potential characteristic or listed hazardous pharmaceutical waste, as identified in the attached draft Statement of Work;– Provision or exchange of sharps containers, biohazard bags, and medical–waste boxes; and– Physical pickup at a government–designated location outside the secure confines of the facility.
