(1) Vendor needs to provide legislative consultation services to the government authority located in Charlotte, NC. – The Awarded Vendor will inform the college of legislative activity and advocate for the agency’s interests. This work will involve tracking and analyzing legislation, advancing the college’s legislative and funding priorities, supporting staff in meetings and presentations with legislators as needed, and arranging and conducting meetings with legislators.– The Consultant shall provide comprehensive legislative monitoring and strategic advisory services to support the College's government relations and institutional planning efforts.• Attend relevant legislative sessions, committee meetings, and other public proceedings as appropriate to monitor legislation and policy actions that may affect the College.• Maintain an understanding of pending legislative decisions, including the rationale, stakeholder positions, and potential implications for the College.• Analyze publicly available legislative, regulatory, and policy information to supplement intelligence gathered through meetings, interviews, and other engagement activities.• Provide timely analysis and strategic recommendations to assist the College in evaluating legislative developments, informing institutional planning, and developing legislative strategies.• Deliver regular updates and briefings regarding significant legislative activity, emerging issues, and potential risks or opportunities impacting the College.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 11, 2026.
