Original Town Site Pre-Development - Utilities & Street Light Project

The City of Surprise Original Town Site (OTS) is the future home of the New Multigenerational Community Resource Center (MGCRC). The currently planned location of the new MGCRC sits directly underneath existing overhead APS primary power lines that service existing, operational facilities North and East of the new MGCRC, as well as atop an existing waterline that currently feeds both facilities. As such, this project is considered a Site Pre-Development project and includes all work necessary to eliminate the APS overhead primary power feeds and existing water infrastructure from the location of the new MGCRC Project, and provide permanent electrical and water infrastructure capable of supporting the new MGCRC development and adjacent existing facilities. This project is funded, in whole or in part, with Federal Funds via Maricopa County and other sources. In addition, this project is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of an award totaling one million ($1,000,000) dollars with a zero (0%) percentage financed with non-governmental sources.
