GIS-2063 - USA (Concord, New Hampshire) - Bedrock Geologic Mapping Service - Deadline October 19,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide bedrock geologic mapping service to the government authority located in Concord, NH. – To conduct bedrock geologic mapping for the 1:24,000–scale.– Conduct field data collection in the area and deliver a seamless bedrock geologic map that is accurate with respect to the field data, and internally consistent in the interpreted delineation of map units, in electronic point and line format; where working on paper becomes absolutely necessary, and with prior discussion with and approval of the state geologist, a paper scan may be submitted, which must be legible to ensure the delineation of bedrock geologic map units in the area.– Collect data on the mineralogy, texture, lithology, contacts between lithologic units, strike and dip of fractures (including faults and joints), and other discontinuities with attention to such structures that may be water–bearing, bedding, foliations, and the trend and plunge of fold hinges and lineations at all bedrock outcrops and exposures that may be practicably accessed.– Collect high–quality photographs of major geologic features, which shall be provided to Agency as raw digital image files, separate from inclusion in a Word or PDF document.– Perform the petrographic analyses of thin section samples across the map area to provide detailed data on mineral composition and content of rock samples, as deemed appropriate to answer specific questions on unit petrogenesis.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 25, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for two years.
