(1) Vendor needs to provide congregate food programs grant administered services to the government authority located in Paterson, NJ. – Provide congregate food programs for agency residents who meet funding source income eligibility requirements. • Congregate feeding program: An estimated annual allocation of $32,586.74 from the community services block grant and other funding sources as deemed appropriate, will be available to an entity to provide meals to eligible agency residents.– Provide prepared meals for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and meeting the income eligibility requirements.– Preference will be given to entities that provide services for a minimum of 5 days per week.– Each meal recipient must complete the presumptive eligibility form and be entered into empowOR.– The cost per meal cannot exceed $5.34 inclusive of all operational and administrative costs.– Preference will be given to one entity that will provide this service in the agency.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
