(1) Vendor needs to provide advanced metering infrastructure installation services to the government authority located in Solvang, CA.– Provide a full turnkey AMI solution. The work shall include system design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, training, and ongoing support.– System shall provide frequent and reliable meter data collection, support integration with the city’sbilling system, and enable future expansion into advanced utility management tools.– Improve billing accuracy, reduce non–revenue water, enhance leak detection capabilities, and provide customers with access to timely water use information.– System shall be scalable and support future integration with sensors, analytics platforms, and other smart water infrastructure.– Design and install a complete fixed communication network, including Data Collector Units (DCUs), backhaul communications, and network management systems.– Maximum reuse of existing meters with AMI endpoints and network.– Complete system conversion and replacement if the proposer believes that provides superior lifecyclevalue.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
